OK. I bought this item with the intention of using it in a Vintage RV with a burn proof surface underneath and a MaxxAir vent fan in the ceiling above it. I have not tried it yet, but I have read the directions. According to those, I have bought something with the destructive ability of a nuclear weapon. Now, it is altogether possible that they are simply written to try to legally protect manufacturer and distributer against stupidity (like using it in a tent, sitting on a surface made of fireplace logs with the tent zipped.) I'm really not sure if it will work for my application, but I will try it, I will have a fire extinguisher nearby, it will be supervised, and the fan will be on. The product has the heft and fit and feeling of a well made product. It simply may be more like a rocket engine than a propane burner. That remains to be seen.Read full review

Because the stove is a light weight stove, I have to hold it in one hand to ignite. It is hard to ignite it and when it ignites, it spread a big flame upward. It can burn my face if I'm not careful by putting my face close to the stove.

Functions OK but the metal is thin as a pop can which makes it so light weight that when you push the knob the whole thing slides away from you.

The next time a hurricane strikes here in South Florida, I will be ready with this gas-burner element for my backyard tank. Even bought an old-style stovetop coffee pot to go with it! :)
