First, I commend the seller for such a quick response to my order. I ordered on a Sunday afternoon (9/18) and by Tuesday (9/20) I had the product in hand (with normal shipping and it was free!). The quality of the product is great. It was easy to install, worked immediately and shows very well. The original lamp lasted 11 years, so I hope to see same longevity in this one.

It does not work... the arms are flimsy easy to bend weak diecast steel feeling alumin.. the lamp has a hot wire coming out the back bulbthat dangles and is so thin will prob short out within a year of use.. the 2 prongs under the bulb that connect the lamp to the tv unit are weatk/flimsy material that keeps bending and too short.. they need an extension of some sort by a mere cm or half. I swapped the housing units out to the OEM.. and the way it is designed i had to keep the 2 stupid prongs and then it locked into place.. but (NO CONNNECTION) because the prongs are too short/flimsy .. I would have taken pics if i knew i was gonna go through all this..when i swapped housings it was too late to take pics ... so here it is on the better brand frame and the one taken apart is the cheapo product hereRead full review

I have replaced this lamp a couple of times over the years. While the cost was initially high right after purchasing the TV, and still a little expensive through warranty. I came across this unit and for the money I will buy again when the time comes. It performs as it should and is very easy to install, plug and play. Am very happy with this purchase and again will buy another one in about 2000 hrs.

Lamp is a drop in replacement for the original. However, the small plastic piece that makes contact with the lamp sensor was not long enough to press the contact and the TV wouldn’t turn on. Needle nose pliers to pull the metal contact out, and a small piece of wood glued to the plastic piece on the lamp assembly and all is good. Would recommend.
