My dad had given me my original Sony camera when he got his new one. Unfortunately, I lost it. So, I decided, because I am already familiar with it, and am a newbie to digital cameras, to replace mine with exact same model. And I do love it. It is easy to use. It can be used alone or with a tripod. It can use a battery pack or Lith-cad batteries. I can plug it into my laptop via a cable and upload/label the photos as I want, or I can pop out the digi-stick, and easily do the same, if my camera is on tripod in the middle of being used. Right now it is just what I need to get my own ebaqy store up and running. I am looking forward to taking to the grand kids as well. If the time come when Iam good enough to justify the expense of another camera, I will look to Sony again. His camera was used by my dad for over two years and it served him well. We both have confidence in the name and the product. For the beginner it can't be beat for the price.Read full review
This camera is easy to use. I bought it for my 5 year old, and he has figured out how to use it without the manual (can't read it himself). He is better at using the timer mode on this camera than my wife is on our Sony camera. This is easy to use for anyone.
I am overwhelmed with the quality of picture you get out of a camera that only has 1.3 megapixels. View screen is crystal clear and it takes great close-ups too. Design is simple and easy to use. I figured it all out in just a minute or two without any kind of manual. Bought as a gift but I think I'll just have to keep it.
Perfect for my daugter for christmas. She has been asking for one for months. She will love it and it is perfect for first time camera owners. Only problem i can for see is all the batteries that i am going to have to go through.
Nice old Cybershot. I'm going to use it for my car camera. Small megapixel size pics, but in good shape for it's age.
