I'll give credit to the folks who sell these: recarting old chips is a great way to keep authentic classic gaming experiences for years to come, even if the cheap plastic used smells like spray paint. Overall, if you want an authentic copy of this classic game without paying an arm and a leg, this is a good substitute. Now as far as the game, it's Sonic 3D Blast. You've heard what people think... The game is like 23 years old after all. "Plot" is pretty standard. Controls are meh. Graphics are blah. The 3D Iso perspective in this game is god awful and makes controlling Sonic with a standard d-pad both cumbersome and unrewarding. Flickies can be painful to try and recollect after taking damage, and in the later games, sometimes is impossible depending on where in the level you got hit. The game was an interesting take on Sonic back in 1996, but if you are gonna buy a Traveller's Tale game for the Sega, just stick to something like the Lion Kings. This is not their best work.Read full review
