If you buy this kit because you want to learn how to tattoo and take apart, rebuild, tune and eventually use it on skin, this kit is for you. If your looking for a tuned machine that is 100% ready to go, you are gonna pay a lot of money for that. Why should newbies buy this kit. 1. Stainless steel frames which don't add extra vibration (vibration = more pain) 2. The coils will last a while IF, you learn how to use silicone to cover any exposed copper and change the post clips with new ones. 3. You have plenty of ink to learn on the fake skin. (Though these inks have dates and EU standards on the bottles, the risk of using it on your skin is up to you) Things you should toss to the side or only practice stuff -Metal grip (You should use disposable grips) -the pedal cord (I recommend a whole new pedal but if you can get a better cord it is good) -clip cord (I recommend a better one) -Inks? (Again, use at you own discretion on live skin) -Ink tray (They are pretty much useless for live tattooing, as you would have to cover in plastic before putting the ink cups in.) -Gloves (save them for a project, or to take out trash!) You can get replacements for these things at a tattoo equipment supplier for around $100 if you know what to look for, and then obviously you need all the medical and cleaning supplies. If you want to get into tattooing then this is absolutely the best your going to get for the price. The frames alone make this kit is worth it. learning about you machine is just as important as the ink you put in people. Read full review

it's a decent kit it will put a tattoo on you for sure but it hits so hard and I am well aware on how to tune a machine properly. So far practice kit for either fake skin or fruits it's fine but for actual tattooing other than small line tattoos, it's not the machine for that. Also it took one full week to get this item from Ohio to Massachusetts so that was outrageous. But it was as described everything it said it included, it had and it will put a tattoo down ,so it's okay. Here in the pics is some thing I did while practicing. This is a pic of my upper thigh. ( this was a sacrifice I made to practice, as the practice skin is nothing like the real thing. Also it is only line work no shading or color yet.) Use your own discretion

Love the kit overall. A few issues, foot petal is a little wonky. But it works fine if you aren't picky about perfection. Haven't used the inks yet I have been using my own. Good starter kit for its price.

This is a great product for the price especially the inks are not the best but they are good starter inks they DO hold if you know how to tattoo and no one has had any bad reaction to it

I've watched a ton of videos on you tube to see how to set the guns up, and I can not get either one to work. The silver gripper won't tighten, so we're only able to use one. Only instructions that came are so basic, that for a beginner set, it should be way more detailed. Not exactly happy. I rated way to soon. We love that we got it, but it's not working.
