not really for scratching post cat tree ...more of a climb, hide and play cat tree... the 52'' one is better if you need a scratching post cat tree I have a 2 month kitten and a 5 yr cat they both fit/sit/ sleep in it with no problems ... there is some wiggling on the tallest post but nothing all that dangerous ... now as fare as playing goes there is not much room and my kitten has been found hanging on the edge still swatting at the mice (several time) so if you have a bigger and active cat just watch out for that the instructions are not the best but not ikea hard... just images...no words... but easy once you get the hang of it... also the gray is a lot darker then the picture... like charcoal gray not that light gray... there are 3 hanging mice instead of 2... which is a good thing and a bad thing... bad because it kinda looks tacky ...my kitten tore one of them off the 3rd night ...so good there are more... my cat has no interest in them what so ever and seems happy to ignore them.... one of the parts came broken ... my guess is because of the way it was packaged... but it was just one of the ladders so we made do... hope this review is helpful to anyone else buying itRead full review

Overall, the quality of this cat tower is acceptable but not great. All parts arrived and it was easy to put together. The instructions were not very thorough and you need to know what to do with some pieces, as the instructions do not give any guidance on what to do with them (they are part of the little houses on the tower). This is a good tower for kittens but grown cats may find it a little small. The material is thin and will not last a year. After two days of use one of the hanging mice has already been chewed off by one of our cats. Bottom line, the quality goes along with the cheap price tag.

Probably fine for some cats, however my cats are large and I needed better scratching posts. The bottom posts had no sisal for scratching. Also, the posts were small and I don't know if they would hold up to my big cats. This was my fault as I didn't look well enough before ordering and was just trying to get a tall gray tree which it was. It was not mis-represented but turned out to be not what I wanted. It is a very good value, particularly if your kitties are small. This would have been perfect when mine were kittens before they turned into small lions !!! While it wasn't the greatest quality, for the price paid, I couldn't complain !

Well first off, the box came in with a corner broke. Which had me worried that all the pieces werenβt there. Also the directions are terrible to follow. Could do better explaining in putting it together. Just gave number or items and where they go. Which one pole was a complete different pole then what it was suppose to be. Took about a hour together me and my partner. Good quality for the most part. Some had glue sticking out and a hole in where the fabric should have been sewed. My fur babies and I both appreciate the stability of the tree though. Like the different levels for them to play on. You will need the pictures on here in order to understand how it gets put together. But all and all my babies enjoy it. And Iβm a stratified customer for the most part. Just keep your phone handy when assembling. ππΌRead full review

Good item for the amount paid, I purchased for my two Cats, will NOT work for grown cats, it is not strong enough, I will use it but had to do allot of carpet wrapped wood supports. More then likely a great play tower for Kittens, will keep them busy for days.
