First off, none of the modern electronics are easy for this Senior Citizen to use. This system sounds great and is versatile. Has no docking port for your IPOD etc. but does have a USB port. It also does not have an easy RCA port for TV sound etc. It does have an audio-in jack. Clock does not display when power is off. I would recommend the Sharp Model CD-DH950 if you need more features. Had some issues with the remote and no Owner's Manual but the supplier worked with me to quickly solve them. Positive feedback.

Sounds goods especially considering the size. Great price for this, only thing I don't like are the buttons. I am wondering how long they will last. Seems most of the new mass produced electronics have buttons and keyboards that can't stand long term usage. Overall impressed by the sound to price ratio...very good for such low price. I am an audio engineer and have worked with multi-million dollar P.A systems. This is great for a little home office, which is where i'm using it. Again my only dislike is all the plastic buttons and wondering how long that will hold up.. the sound itself is very good.

The sound is fine, Bluetooth is fine, even tuner is fine. The CD is crap. Oddly enough two of us who bought from the same seller have defective CD player...coincidence? I don't believe in them. The thing worth any money is the remote. I am contacting Sharp because at least they are hopefully reputable enough to stand up for their product. Hopefully they won't make me return this thing that weighs a ton via USPS, by send me to a place near me. Speakers are fine, CD is such a disappointment. I prefer CD's so SHARP, help me as only you can.

thought I'd found what I wanted, since I was looking for something with an AM radio and a cassette player (which are becoming rather scarce on new stereos), and this had both. I got it hooked up (antennas, etc), played some tapes and mp3s, and it sounded very good, but, the radio was worthless. It would pick up some local FM stations, though very weakly, and some only in mono. As for AM, there's a station 10-12 miles from my location, and there was no discernible evidence of it, even with the antenna hanging out the window. Also, the pre-sets for radio stations worked fine while it was on, but turning it off, and back on, deleted them all. I sent it back.
