Gold plated/PVD watches are not usually my deal, but I already own and love the PADI turtle so I thought I'd take a chance on this version. This is one of those watches you have to see in person to appreciate. The gold color is absolutely spot on. Most gold tone watches are brassy and cheap-looking but this one matches my gold wedding band perfectly. My favorite feature is the beautiful black sunray dial. You'd expect them to just use the matte black dial from the SRP777 but this one is really something special. The silicone dive strap is supremely comfortable and the matching gold keeper adds a touch of class. Seiko definitely has a winner with the sporty yet elegant SRPC44. If you're considering this watch at all, go ahead and pull the trigger--you'll love it!

My first Seiko finally started losing time in large intervals. Having paid a little over a hundred dollars for it in 1986, I believe I got my monies worth. My new purchase was a good value to start, to insure accuracy you should wind it every couple of days for a few weeks until it has a chance to get broken in. If your fortunate it will lose less than 10 sec. In 24 hrs. Beautiful watch but like my last dive watch, the band is sub par. It will be replaced next month. I have great expectations for my new SRPC44, it is a beautiful piece of watch. They should offer it with a matching Gold "Jubilee type" band and add a hundred+ bucks to the price. If you can get it for under $300 bucks jump on it and splurge $150 for a StrapCode 22mm Super-J Louis bracelet. Shop wisely and enjoy a beautiful watch.Read full review

Nice looking , great watch that had the nicest band of any Seiko dive watch , it is much softer and feels 100% better than the usual Seiko Strap. Great value for an excellent movement 4R36. Automatic/ handwind with hacking. Turtle case is just right in my medium sized wrist.

Incredible value for the money. Solid Seiko in house movement, substantial weight and quality. Stock strap is actually not bad, much better than the SKX007 or normal Seiko rubber band stock. I bought a nice after market IP Gold Presidential from Miltat. It's dope.

These Seiko turtles are fantastic. They wear smaller than their 45MM case size would suggest. Very comfortable on my 7.5" wrist. At this price point throwing on a sapphire crystal seems completely doable but oh well. Still a damn good watch.
