VIDEO GAMES Although it does apply anti-aliasing in some very select places, it also applies a "sharpening" filter to the image that makes aliasing much worse. I tried PS2, PS3, and Wii U. None of the games looked better. I think sharpening filters that TVs come with should pretty much always just be disabled, because the original picture looks better. MOVIES I tried a live action movie on DVD and a cartoon on DVD, and they just looked the same quality except a little different color. It doesn't remove compression artifacts or blurring. I'd rather the colors be original to what the film maker wanted. I think Blu-rays already look perfect. Maybe this cable works well for other things, but decided to return it.

It is really nice pictures very sharp even if its not upscaling..... Though it does do what it says 1080p Blu-ray to 3890x2980 or whatever it is.. I've got a Xbox one s..... It helps not be so dark... It also clears up sounds..... Though I wish that it was more technical specs on the upscaling like 50Hz/60Hz....Alot of the 1080p are more likely to be at 1080p50Hz...

Compared to the 4k on my Netflix and YouTube that comes with my LG smart TV this cord didn't hold up in comparison when I tried to hook up to my PS4, XBOX One, or cable box.

I've purchased this cable in the hopes that it performs as advertised, however, I was unable to get any 1080p image upscaled to the 4K advertised resolution. The cable performs well, and it is a good value, it just does not upscales.
