This little tool is VERY useful. It's great to have when you bought clothes from a store and the tag somehow did not get removed during the checkout process. Sometimes cashiers unintentionally skipped a piece of clothing. I had a summer dress which I bought few winters back that sat in my closet for years due to that human error. As for using it, you just need to insert the sharp point into a small hole on that tag and then just fiddle around until it detaches. I had to fiddle it a little bit like a lockpick on my first attempt but it was easy nonetheless. So, forget the Youtube videos - they may work on some people but I'm just minimizing risk in case something goes wrong while prying the tags off manually with rubber bands or forks. While it's useful and nifty, this item unfortunately can fall into the wrong hands for those who have intentions to shoplift clothing.Read full review

It isnt as easy as it might seem, the fact that you are probably using them simply by hand & without the help of the gun/device's assistance makes it a little more difficult & I had a hard time with at least half of the items I attempted to free of their tags... Maybe a grip tape end will help..? I dunno..

Ever bought something then come home only to find out there’s a dead tag hanging from your new shirt? If you got one of these laying around the house it is handy to remove tag without damaging your clothes. Keep it in the tool box. Better to be safe than sorry for 2 dollars.

Got here very quickly and works like a charm. Going to order another because it is a little thin and I’m worried it may eventually break, however that is just the design of the hook. Great value for the money. Thank you!

I don't know what would make this item better. It worked a couple times but then it just stopped working. When you go to push it down it wouldn't go all the way. Maybe if they were made out of a stronger metal they wouldn't get damaged by the tags.
