I wanted a cheap MP3 player for camping that I didn't need to worry about loosing since another one wou only run me about $22. This MP3 player works well with good iPhone earbuds. I'd highly recommend tossing the earphones this player comes with. Good earbuds makes for good sound with this device. I wish Sandisk would sale a player like this with Bluetooth but overall I'm very satisfied.

I had an earlier sansa clip, not the sport, and it was much better and easier to use. This clip sport has this weird bullshit you have to go through to create and add playlists to the player, which is so stupid and user-unfriendly. I'm looking at other mp3 players, this is not going to work well for me at all. Wish I hadn't bought it.

I had a SanDisk before - before i put it through the extended wash cycle. After much research I determined that this was still the best sports mp3 /radio out there, combined with the deeply discounted refurbished price. I received it almost immediately and was pleasantly surprised to find it was slightly larger than my old "postage stamp" size player - with a bigger easier to read screen. I was really loving it when after a few uses I lost the sound from it and thought it was defective. But it turned out that the pause control was accidentally pushed, and it is designed to stay on pause even when turned off and back on again. Problem solved. Also, i was not expecting it to come with headphones but it did. They sound great, except when running. The movement manifests as amplified static in my ears. I replaced these with some highly rated Panisonic earbuds on Ebay for about $7, which do not move in my ears and amazingly stay in place over an entire 5 mi run. I bought this for my wife who is hesitant to any technology. Her Cd player in her car went belly up. I had got one earlier and found it super simple to operate had great quality sound both in the provided ear buds and in a speaker/radio. I also use mine at work and the battery lasts all week. This is a great product I would recommend this to anybody.

I received the item in good condition. The firmware was updated as noted on the ad. Everything is working fine and I am enjoying it EXCEPT the FM tuner does not work at all. No radio. I tried to create pre-sets and they all seemed to be implemented but they were all empty when I checked. This is my 5th Sport Clip as I love the product so I am very familiar with them. I am just disappointed that the FM doesn't work.
