This phone is small and durable, comfortable to hold. I have dropped it 3 times on a tile floor and have sprayed it with a hose. Though I don't recommend those things, it still works fine. They don't make enough of these decent basic flip phones anymore. It is a quad band phone with bluetooth, basic camera, speakerphone. The menus are easy to navigate and you can get to features in multiple ways. Contacts are readily accessible as is the ability to do a new text message. One negative is that you can easily accidentally block a number when viewing a text. Two of us have done that. That's only something to be aware of. My whole family has this phone and I can hear them and they can hear me 4000 miles apart. Signal reception is reasonable. Standby time lasts for days, but if I have an hour long conversation, the battery drops to half and I generally need to charge it. But it doesn't take long to do so. A car charger might be a nice thing to have. I just need a way to find my son's phone when he drives off with it on top of his car and loses it--GPS? That might be the only thing missing.Read full review
Pros small size bright screen with large time display visible on the exterior with phone closed. Screen fonts scalable (S, M or Large) user friendly menus user friendly software that works great with Win XP Pro. Export contacts, calendar, etc from MS Outlook) large buttons Cons awkward position of side control buttons. Can make unexpected stuff happen during dialing (cursing, etc ~;) when pressed inadvertently. Requires extra attention / care ~:| camera feature is about what you'd expect(or perhaps a bit less ~:/
I bought this dummy phone hoping that I could slide the battery cover off the back to use as a replacement for the one I'd lost on my new phone. Unfortunately, the dummy phone parts aren't real and they don't slide. They're snapped into place, so if you want to use it for replacement parts, it won't work. However, it IS a very cool phone for the little kids in your life that would like to feel like they have the real thing (just remove the little plastic pieces on the side so there's no risk of them being swallowed)!
Put the chip in the telephone and I was back on the airwaves. What can be more important? But this box of review says I have to type 100 charecters. The weight and size of the phone is perfect for this older person. The outside volume is great for my hearing loss. As a matter of fact I bought two of these just in case they quit making ths model. Will keep coming back for this phone instead of the newer type with more gagets and smaller keys.
I bought this cell phone because of the price and color. It is very pretty and stylish, but lacks many features I would have like to have on my phone. When it stated that my phone had Bluetooth, it should have stated headset Bluetooth, and that is it. Unless you plug the phone into your computer with a cord, you cannot send things like ring tones to it. I have a tendency to push the volume button on the side when answering it, which tells me the phone, is a little bit small. Also the phone does not have many features like smiley faces for texting, which I miss having. Overall, the phone has been a good little phone to have when in a pinch, but not a good phone for texters. I would rate this a 3 or 4 out of 10, just because it is a basic phone with little thrills.
