I've been looking around for a fitness tracker for a while that isn't a watch face since I like to wear analogue time pieces, and it would look silly wearing 2 watches. I heard mixed reviews about this on various sites and decided to give it a shot since I couldn't find anything better looking. Paired it with my S8 and it unsurprisingly works flawlessly. Product came working and in great condition, fits well on my wrist (My wrist size is border line small, somewhere lower range large), and looks good. There's some hate with this product on other sites, and I can see some flaws, but if you're not super picky and don't mind a few random vibrations and screen light ups here and there, it does what it does (at least for me). It lights up when you twist your wrist to check the time but movements similar will do the same; however it quickly lights off. The most common vibration instances are whenever you're close to/outside the BT range. I've had some other times where it vibrates and I check it to see no notification or any reason as to why. I haven't played with all the functions yet as I mostly use it for monitoring my heart rate for exercise and sleep, how active I am for the day, music, and as a reminder to get up and stretch. Heart rate monitor is mostly accurate, though there are a few instances where it's off by a lot compared to the one I tested with at a gym, but generally it's pretty reliable. Same with the pedometer since it's probably calculated by an algorithm based on certain movements of your wrist. Battery ranges 1.5-3 days depending on what you have on from my experience. It charges pretty fast as well, so not a biggie for me. It's rated ipx5 iirc, but I take it off when I shower to let it charge, and usually when I put it back on, I'll have enough power for another day. Overall, it's not the best, but for a decent price, a beautiful LED screen, and one of the few wrist not smart watch face bands; I can't complain.Read full review

Would only hold a charge for 5 to 7 hours. And that would be Power saving mode most of the time. I should have returned it right away, But I thought I could fix it with changing the battery. That didn't help. Reset all the settings, That didn't help. The battery drains and the same amount of time even if it shut off. I think they should I check into it a little better before they sold it

Sleek and easy user interface. Fits comfortably. Works best with Android phone, but also compatible with iPhone. There is no Strava app for the watch, but Samsung Health will sync with it when connected via phone app settings. Tons of free watch faces are available through the Samsung Gear app.

I replaced an Apple Watch with this and while it doesn't support the breadth of apps that the apple watch did, I never really only cared about getting notifications and health tracking. This is a bit simpler of a device; it doesn't support many apps, but it does great with health/fitness tracking and there's a far broader selection of watch faces than the Apple Watch. Also, it looks a whole lot better than the Apple.

This is a great 'watch' (fitness tracker) and being able to swim with it and it having built-in GPS are a bonus. Battery life is dismal, as on most of these units. Visibility in the sun is great (you have to love the beautiful, power-hungry display!). Samsung really needs a website that you can keep track of everything like FitBit. Old eyes don't enjoy doing everything from their phones. Also, what's the deal about these silly companies not sharing their fitness data? Any fitness app should be able to read any fitness tracker - just my opinion. Hope this helps.
