This is a high-quality tablet with many features. It has the Samsung super AmoLED screen which is very bright and clear and colorful. The tablet has the ability to make a direct connection without Wi-Fi to the internet with a micro USB adapter. A feature that has been dropped on other Samsung products. The small size makes it handy to use and yet the keyboard cover accessory means you can type small documents. Tablet is highly recommended and I hope Samsung continues to support this type of high-quality tablet.

It's a good tablet for the time it was released over 2 years ago so I'm not complaining but it is sluggish compared to more recent models. It's fine but for $200 I would recommend paying a little extra for a more recent tablet. But if 200 is all you want to sped it fine.

I want to say that even though this is a tablet from 2014 it does play Hulu and Netflix and Disney Plus and it does go on Facebook and Instagram. I think the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a perfect sized tablet and I think the 359 PPI is an absolutely beautiful screen especially since it's a Samsung AMOLED screen. The blacks get really black and the colors on the screen just look amazing and vibrant. It's got 3 gigabytes of RAM. It's still a quick little Speedy tablet even though it's from 2014. It's not a modern-day Workhorse tablet but it is a really good media streaming tablet these days especially with the speakers that are oriented to be top and bottom in portrait mode and left and right in landscape mode. I absolutely love that. It almost feels weird and foreign to have the speakers on the left and right side of the tablet when I'm watching a movie because I've used so many tablets with two bottom speakers in portrait mode which means you're either going two speakers on the left or two speakers on the right when you're holding it in landscape mode. So having them evenly spaced out and getting that full stereo sound takes a little bit of getting used to but I like it a lot more then just having two speakers on one side. The tablet that I got is in very good condition and the speaker seem to be in good condition as well and clean and produce a really nice sound. It's a fantastic tablet and I got it for internet browsing social media browsing and streaming movies and TV because I like that gorgeous screen and I like that it's still a really smooth tablet.Read full review

The AT&T version of the Tab S will not be getting Android 6 AKA Marshmallow. Samsung confirmed that only Verizon versions will get the update. This isn't that terrible, but users will lose a degree of functionality. Also, as in my case, if you purchase a restored storefront tablet, you might notice a faint image burned into the tablet. The AT&T symbol is noticeable against a white background. Glad to see that fingerprint scanning is at least functional enough to unlock the device. It's also nice that they still offer SD Card slots.
