Used this phone for a little over a week now and I can say it is definitely a Samsung flagship. Beautiful AMOLED display, hardly any lag with its TouchWiz overlay and I love the AOD (Always on display) feature. I upgraded from a Note 5. Performance is comparable. Screen is 5.1 inches and perfect for smaller hands like myself. One bad side is the battery. I can have the phone to 100% leave for work and by the end of my 8 hour shift with hardly any use it can be down to 30% to 40%. Radio seems a bit weak compared to my Note 5 too I can't get LTE or full coverage as often or as easily. Places where I get 4 to 5 bars now I get 2 to 3. That could be one of the reasons for the poor battery. Otherwise, I love this phone another great phone by Samsung made in 2016 using it in 2018.

After 2 week of uses i found below points. Pros Good design Build quality Camera works very well in low light conditions as well Cons Battery drains not lasting more than 7 hours in my phone even thought I turn on optimization mode Samsung need to consider battery drain issue. Not able to watch 4k videos in YouTube Camera options is very difficult to used to it.. it might take some time for new users if android Samsung health app is not accurate it not calculate the actual steps or salaries when you do cardio excersises .steps are counts g even when you are shaking phone. When shaking phone you could here some darling sound from camera portion if the phone same thing not observed if you turn on camera app and shake the phone

As a pocket computer the Galaxy S7 is solid. I'm generally happy with the purchase. I only have two complaints: 1. Network Cell Info Lite app reports a cell signal strength about 10 dBm lower than my old Nexus 5 everywhere I go. At home, the signal strength is just barely usable. So the cell radio in the Galaxy S7 appears sub-par to me. 2. The Samsung Camera app uses *way* too much sharpening. After the good reviews the Galaxy S7 camera received, I expected gorgeous photos. The camera hardware appears to be quite good, but they ruined the software with all the sharpening. I can't find any way to adjust this in the default camera app. There are a couple third-party camera apps, such as Camera FV-5 and Snap Camera that let you adjust the sharpness. I'll probably pick up one of those after I experiment a little more.Read full review

It's a good phone. The only issue is that it has some screen burn. Otherwise, I've got a top of the line phone for less than $150. I like the metal and glass case- I'm anxious about toxic plastic off-gasses, or carrying aluminum- it's just nicer, what can I say. Decent processing speed. The battery life is maybe 16 hours with frequent use.

I bought the Cdn. version online. It doesn't have all the apps the universal version has but I can get WiFi on LTE 5. Clear & brightly coloured apps & display. 4G ram makes it quick & the OS is supposed to be upgraded from 7 nougat to 8 Oreo shortly, Great camera & fast focusing. Highly recommended.
