This phone is lilghtweight, comes with android Kitkat 4.4.2, which is fine. It has a bunch of features that you won´t believe it. It takes pictures with voice notes, it detects if you're watching the screen or will turn the screen off, NFC technology, wifi direct, and so much more! The saddest part about this is that the phone has a battery drain, you're not able to downgrade to the previous version JB 4.1 because can brick it and is hard to install a custom rom because can also brick it.

I actually received an S4 when I ordered the "updated" S3. While it is a good phone, I like the Iphone 4 better for many reasons. Battery life is the first. I only charged it every 2-3 days. The Galaxy needed charging halfway through my day. Also, the Iphone is very rugged while the Galaxy is very fragile. It fell face first into the floor while in a protective case. It's screen is dead as we speak. The internet connection has much less reach than the Iphone, though it is fast. The Galaxy has too many things running in the background, needs constant maintenance with it's operation, constantly gives "drive space is almost full" and other warnings even with an SD card... no matter how I set it, it became very annoying. The good is that the Galaxy is so much bigger and clearer than the Iphone. It's like having a Galaxy Tab, which I happen to have and is much better than any Ipad I used. Storage is always an issue with the Iphone. The Galaxy can utilize SD cards, I think up to 128 gigs, to expand your storage of music, photos, and vids. That was very nice. It's just that the battery life ruins the experience with the Galaxy. My advice is to save and get an Iphone. 4(S),5(S,C),6... etc. They are well made devices. Not these Samsung Galaxys. It's just a bigger phone.Read full review

Excellent phone compared to HTC Rezound aside from better Verizon cell reception and better keyboard/language correction the Rezound had. Also my fingers keep hitting the spacebar more often than I prefer (bottom is kind thin (but light) but I do have big thumbs. Will try different keyboard app. Everything else was such a great improvement. Battery life much better although not super great which is why the second battery in the glove box. All apps open-close very fast which I am not accustomed to ever before the Rezound or Droid/X. Screen was definitely bright enough for me. Buying a rubber case kept the case tight especially on the windshield grip-go mount which is also great. Love the phone, very satisfied.
My wife's galaxy 3 died and we wanted an exact replacement as we are used to this model and our need for advancing features would go unused. Took it down to the Factory Verizon Dealer and they activated it in very short order. They were shocked we had a new phone because this is now a dinosaur (like us) We Love this model.

he Samsung Galaxy S3 has become the most successful Android phone of all time. More than 50 million units have shipped but now it's been supersceded by the Samsung Galaxy S4, one of the most hotly anticipated phones ever. The success of the Galaxy S3 has helped make Samsung the biggest smartphone maker in the world, but it hasn't been without its fair share of controversy. First was the news that the Galaxy S3 didn't fare too well in drop tests and there are complaints that the build quality is not the best. This was particularly exacerbated by the numerous Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5 comparisons which split the Android and iOS camps even further apart. The iPhone 5 has superior build quality and styling, but the Galaxy S3 scores highly on features and value for money.
