The Samsung BD-D5700 Blu-Ray Player is a very reasonably priced HD Blu-Ray DVD player with wired AND wireless-N internet communication capability. We have enjoyed using it to view Blu-Ray and regular DVD disks. We have also used the wireless internet for things like Netflix and for updating the device's firmware. The player also has a USB thumb drive port, which I have not yet tried. The USB port can be used for JPEG pictures. It is also an alternative source for firmware updates that had first been downloaded to a desktop or laptop computer and then copied to the thumb drive. This player is relatively easy to connect, set-up and use. I am happy with this product and would buy it again.
I had two criteria for the purchase. Analog audio outs for playing CDs and my two favorite Apps; Netflix and Youtube. It had all that when I hooked it up, but as soon as I established the internet connection, it promptly went into "update" and deleted about 4 or 5 Apps INCLUDING Youtube. Gone. Extremely disappointed.

I bought one of these in 2011 when they were a new product on the shelves. I have really enjoyed it & was very happy to find another one for such a good price! We now own 3 of them in our house (2 new, 1 used) and have no complaints!
