For budget speakers/monitors they sound nice. I wish they had more wattage. I compare them to Rockville APM5 that use Class D and electronic crossover, plus bi-amped with more power for the same price new. I bought the M50's used but mint and they sit nicely on my digital piano. Anything bigger speaker wise would need stands. The lowest key on a piano is 55Hz (fundamental tone) and these do ok with that. They have trouble keeping up with the tone wheel organ bass sounds though. I think they would be good surround monitors. They sound nice for the price. I think the Media One 10S subwoofer with these would be good for better bass when playing synths. If you have a small workspace, these would be nice.

Very good sound quality, it’s has a surprisingly great sound I was very impressed due to the low cost and brand, but I will be ordering another pair for a backup! Worth every penny plus more!
