I won't say the head is of bad quality it's quite good actually. But I found that after I levelled the base then put the tilt head on the tripod, the tilt head bubble level is not showing level after adjusting the tilt head. Which means from the base of the tilt head to the top the alignment is somehow not exactly square (not tilt direction, is left and right). It is so important for a tilt and pan head to be made 100% square - because you just can't adjust it once it is on the tripod. Although I can adjust the levelling base again but that is not suppose to adjust twice.

I got mine new on Ebay but at a reduced price (sold not by a dealer but an individual selling his). When I received it, I was quite surprised by the quality versus price. Tilt and pan actions are smooth and knobs tighten surprisingly secure so that there is no any dragging or sliding thereafter. I don't have to try hard at all to tighten them securely just like my Arca Swiss Monoball B1! Similar products of trhis quality made by brands names in US or Europe (Acratech, Arca Swiss, RRS, Kirk, etc.) are normally priced several times more.
