Total does the job. Not sure it gives extra time because of the larger battery. Also, the charging lamp does not turn off, even when the device is fully charged. But overall, the product is good

well i checked them out. one does take a charge but the charge indicator is out. the other i removed the batteries charged them in a separate charger all worked. i use them to run small portable fans and an emergency portable power supply. so all and all this was a good deal

While I haven't used it extensively yet, it does fit my string trimmer, takes a charge and for now seems to hold the charge. What I can't speak to at this point is how long the battery will last. The one that came with the trimmer has, in just three years and somewhat limited use, started to loose its charge rather quickly. Where it once would allow me to trim about half my yard before needing to be recharged, it now allows me to do about a quarter of it - only time will tell with this replacement. Waht I can say is that this one was about $30 less expensive than others I found.
