Ryobi is not a high end tool buy I find they are fine for home use and this 12volt tool is small and light which makes it useful overhead and in tight places where my other brands don't fit. The 18v and now 20v tools do have a lot more torque but most of the time this drill is fine.

Apparently this product requires a charging system different than most Ryobi products, not common in the USA. It would have been nice to have seen a photo of the underside of the drill in order to know that it was different. I would not have bought it if I had seen this.

I purchased this drill to replace an earlier model. I like the adjustable speed settings on this one. The 12v size is great for lighter duty jobs.

Nice addition to my larger 18v drill. Much lighter and easier to use for those smaller jobs. I love it. Perfect for my small engine shop.
