OK, so I bought this to try to re-silver the horizon glass of an old sextant. The first time I tried it, it was marginally successful. I removed it with acetone. The second time I put on a thin coat and then blew it dry, waited, applied a second coat and again blew it dry. ( repeat five times). It is fairly successful. I would rate it at about a seventy percent of silvering. Pretty good. My sextant is very usable.

This product is fine for crafts but not professional looking. Looks hazy and I followed the directions to the letter. My glass was clean and I used 5 coats.
