I'm using this at a marina to pull in a signal to my boat. It's a relatively short distance to the base outdoor antenna, maybe 500' - 700' with no obstructions. My thru-put is consistently above 30M using this antenna vs about 1M - 5M with an Omni. Note, I removed the provided cable and soldered an N connector right at the driven element. The N connector is supported by small piece of 3/8" plexiglass screwed to the antenna. A Ubiquiti Bullet M2 is then connected to the N connector.

This antenna is very high quality. It solved a marginal signal problem I was having with a wireless camera using a different directional antenna. I would certainly recommend this antenna if received signal strength is a problem. Be aware that there is no pin in the cable connector. The camera had no pin either and it was necessary to straighten out a paper clip and insert it into the connector on the camera and cut it off as short as possible; a very minor issue and no fault of the antenna.

I have a 9db omnidirectional antenna. I thought the Yagi would give me better gain, but no matter how I aimed it the 9db antenna out performed the Yagi. It may be due to not having a high elevation to mount it.

It barely work, the sensitivity is about same as a 3 inch antenna, not anywhere near a brand name products. Will not recommend.
