This Guitar was in excellent shape when it arrived, very quickly I might add, like new. I am very new to playing but knew there was an odd sound to it. I did some quick research online and through some friends and family who play and found it needed some adjustments. This is very common with new guitars, they may need a "setup", usually done at the store you purchased it from. This is not the fault of the seller. A little adjustment to the bridge, nut and strings and it sounds great. There were some tiny varnish bubbles and discoloration but I see these as character and how I can identify "my" guitar, nothing that effects the playing/sound. I was nervous because I only had a small amount to spend but I was quite happy, as I had become attached the first day, after having it looked at it was a good purchase. It is new and I live in a dry high altitude area so as for the 'staying tuned' the time is getting longer before I have to re-tune. So far it's a good beginner guitar, it is loud so if your looking for a starter for a kid you might have to set up a practice area in the garage.Read full review

This product arrived damaged. I was not able to play it due to the neck of the guitar being cracked and the strings were broke. I sent the guitar back. Which was another hassle all on it's own, then had to pay a higher price for the replacement, which arrived with the neck completely broke off.

I bought this guitar for my brother, not knowing whether or not he will actually learn, not wanting to spend a lot of money. With that being said, you can't go wrong for $90. A couple strings buzz a little bit which I'm not happy about so I bought a set of Martin SP's for it which have not arrived yet. I hope this solves the problem but if it doesn't, it's still good enough to learn on. As for the appearance, it's absolutely beautiful. One other thing...if a seller describes this as a guitar that comes with a Fishman Pickup/Amp plug-in system, they are full of garbage. That's one reason I bought this because I have an amp, but it does not come with any of that. It's just a plain acoustic guitar. Bottom line...if you want to learn to play, this guitar is okay, but if you're already well on your way, spend the extra and get a higher quality guitar.Read full review
The guitar looks great and sounds wonderful. I have been wanting to learn guitar for many years and always messed around with the normally found right handed guitar. I decided to give a lefty a try and this just feels better. Now to practice practice and more practice. Very pleased so far with the Rogue RG-624

I bought this so I could teach my left handed son to play. It sounds really good. especially for a guitar that only costs $90. Has to be re-tuned every so often but that's not surprising considering the price.
