I have used this chair about ten times now and I can say it is built very solid. There is no play at all. The only two negatives is that the padding really is not that much more than other thrones I have used and the seat area is very small. Even though the thicker padding is the selling point on the web site it really is not that noticeable. Not that it is uncomfortable just that it is not that much more comfortable than other seats I have used. Though the seat is rather small it seems to be satisfactory. But for the price you cannot beat this deal. You do get more than what you pay for! It is a solid seat. Very well built. The height adjustment works really well. It is just that some of the features could use some improvement. But I am very happy with my purchase.

I am not a drummer but used this stool to sit on while playing guitar. It is not very sturdy, the top tube that slides into the base unit is sloppy and has already bent after two uses. I am not very big (5'6"x 180lbs). The leg base is also not very wide so this makes the stool unstable. Would not recommend. I purchased another throne from another vendor for a little more money and it is far superior. Shop around for a better unit. Recommend DW or PDP brands.

Solid & well built. Seat is well padded & comfortable. Much better than my previous "economy" throne, which was really uncomfortable and broke (pitching me on the floor!) after vey little use.

It is comfortable and does the job, but definitely not for bigger guys. I weigh 185, if I was much heavier I'd have to return it for a sturdier model.
