I added this wireless speaker to my existing Rocketfish system, listening to music outside on my deck in under 10 minutes. Sound quality is good, and even better when placed on a smooth hard surface. You won't have "dance club" volume from this unit, but you shouldn't expect it from a portable speaker system anyway. I like the fact that I can hook my mp3 player (or other device) up to the included transmitter/receiver and listen to my own music from any of my existing Rocketfish receivers while the main Rocketfish unit plays from another audio source. This makes the whole system more versatile -- a huge bonus since all I was really interested in was a wireless speaker out on the deck.
This unit is just what I was looking for. It easy to connect to source and very easy to operate. Good sound quality.

This speaker has great sound. I like that if you use rechargeable batteries just plugging in the power cord will charge them. I do have problems getting a good signal between the transmitter and the speaker.I have other wireless speakers that work better at receiving a signal (iLive IS309B) but they don't sound as good. I am using my iLive system to control my iPod and plugging the Rocketfish Transmitter into it's head-phone jack to broadcast wireless music all though my house and backyard.
it was what the customer said it was sounds great

I ordered this to use on my patio. I wished to hook it up to my PC, where I have many iTunes CDs stored. However, since I have a wireless headphone set, it will not work properly. I have hooked it up to my Panasonic CD player, and it works very well. Overall, a good product, but I am disappointed in tthe fact that it does not work with my PC.
