This is not an advance text book in risk management, but it's good enough to give you the intuition and get you started. I'm pretty satisfied with it. International edition has the exact same content but the printing and paper quality is not as good as the American version.
If you want to learn about risk management, I would recommend Hull's Options, Futures & Other Derivatives. It is a lot clearer, covers mostly the same topics and more. The book is not organized and seems to jump from topic to topic with no coherent line.
The book is greater. A lot of useful stuff especially for those whose area is related to capital market. Almost all main aspects, financial institutions are covered
