Use this each fall to set up my 20ga after mounting the slug barrel. First couple if times, I waited until almost dark and zeroed in on an old license plate at 50 yrds. Then started throwing slugs the next day at the target. Didn't seem to be very efficient, especially at $3 per sabot slug. Decided to actually follow the instructions. Set up and zeroed in at 25 yrds...still used old license plate, as its reflective surface made the lazer light really bright and visible. Then used paper target and the "2 shot" technique to zero in. Done in 10 minutes. Shoots dead center at 25 yrds all day long ...maybe an inch off at 50 yds. This more than acceptably accurate as this is just about the longest shot I'd ever have in my neck of the woods.

As an aid to guage impact point for the first shot when sighting in a slug barrel it's ok...but that's it... I placed it in a steady cradle and spun it in its' axis, and the laser definitely is not centered... I just marked the top, center with a sharpie, and that's where I will begin... top center rather than left or right of center...won't save ammo, just gets you on paper quicker...
