Surpassed Expectations
Purchased this Ryobi weed eater for trimming around a mobile home. A small jungle had emerged along the edges of my home (18+ inches tall), so I decided to purchase this after having bought a ryobi circular saw. Was able to completely remove weeds from edge of my house WITHOUT tearing any siding. Battery life slightly lower than expected (45 min), but being put through extremes is going to have a negative impact. Good product, just buy an extra battery
Product is a good buy, it is light weight and easy to handle, the only problem, the battery doesn't last long enough, so i purchased another battery, so while i am using one, the other is charging, the battery takes a hour to charge. i am doing better now with two batteries, one on the charger and one weed whacking. Seems to be a very good trimmer
I bought is trimmer because at 64 the gas trimmer I have was getting to be to much for me, it is to bulky and to heavy. When this arrived all I had to do was put on the grass guard and I was off and running. The trimmer is light enough that even this crazy cat lady can handle it no problem. The Li-ion battery should hold a charge long enough for me to do the trimming that I need to do.
