This is Weezer's most commercial album in my opinion and like any record has its good and bad moments. "I'm Your Daddy", "In the Mall", "The Girl Got Hot" are pretty substandard efforts, but I don't think the boys were trying to put together a classic here. The album is totally redeemed for me by "Can't Stop Partying" which I listen to over and over again. It never fails to make me smile or laugh out loud. And then there's "Let It All Hang Out" with it's squalling guitar riff, another chug rock good time anthem. In no way is this a record to take seriously, I mean, Jeez, look at the cover. It's about pure pop crunch by masters who have offered up a few treats for a sunny day. Let yourself go and enjoy.
I started with the blue Weezer album so I’ve been listening to them from the start. When they released this album I was listening to other stuff and I just didn’t get into it. Boy, I wish I did buy it back then because The sings here are awesome. Like the blue album and Pinkerton.

I've heard a lot of Weezer fans tear this one apart so maybe I went into it expecting too little but I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it is. Very catchy stuff. No, it's not very deep but you get the impression that it is making fun of the music industry rather than trying to seriously be a part of it. 4 1/2 stars.
I'm a long time Weezer fan, therefore I must get this cd...lol...Weezer has had their ups and downs, and now that they got that Red (studio requested) album out of the way Raditude is pleasing to this =w= fan!
