its way bigger than I expected, especially when I read someone's review that its small, for sure to big to attach to bicycle :) belt for carrying is a plus. sound quality is good if you dont go full volume, bass cant handle and sound is cracking, but if you go easy on it everything sounds fine, nice deep bass. im using this on my small boat and when running full speed i can hear music playing. wouldnt cary that to the beach cuz is to big/heavy .

This product is very well built with some incredible features. Sound is awesome when paired with a Bluetooth Device and I was very impressed with the quality, design, and ruggedness. I purchased this unit to use as a portable amp for guitar and voice. This feature had poor performance including a bad hum regarding voice and required negative EQ adjustments on the guitar to attain any type of normal sound. I did return my unit due to the above mentioned issues. The unit could have been defective and my issues may have been the result of such defect. I will also state that the return was effortless and handled very professionally by the seller. If anyone wants an incredible boom box, I rate this as awesome.... Hopefully the other input features are equally as impressive on another unit....

This boombox isn't too bad. The sound quality is okay it definitely isn't 1000 watt RMS power though. If I had to guess maybe more like 100 watt RMS. It's more quiet when you're running it without the power cord plugged in. When the cord is plugged in you can hear more Bass Ace in the speakers and it is louder.

Not the best sound quality but definitely worth the $160 price tag. I heard what the original MSRP was on these units and would not have been happy at that price. It really "booms" the bass frequencies in a kind of uncontrolled bleed into everything else unless you keep the Bass knob at 30% or less. Treble can distort high freqs to sound overblown past 50-60%. You can emulate a mid scoop by turning treble and bass up and the volume down, but not as accurately as the real deal due to the narrow band of the treble and bass EQ. Adjust the EQ with source music you are very familiar with. They can be sensitive. That said, why 5 stars? The connectivity is amazing. Bluetooth is easy and works great. Aux in. Power and standby are a bit confusing at first, but you'll get it after a few uses. The mic and guitar in jacks are very neat features for use as a practice amp or karaoke unit. It's huge, but comfortable to carry with the shoulder strap. 1000watts? Ha! No sir. Still plenty loud. Louder when plugged to AC wall outlet. Battery only operation drops the volume output. Wish this had an EQ for mids. No remote. "Echo" is a reverb. Only works on the Mic channel. You can plug guitar into mic channel. Best guitar sound is Bass all all the way down and Treble all the way up, into the Mic channel with Echo up a bit (at least for me.) The sides light up with multicolor LEDs. Neither a pro nor con to me. Let's you know it's on, I guess. Includes strap and power cable and instructions. The box it comes in is huge. Keeps the item secure in transit, but... You've been warned.Read full review
