Amateur enthusiast. I currently also have a Canon 420EX, and a Sigma 500 DG ST. I also had a Canon 380EX in the past. Sold the 380ex, it was not strong enough for the situations I found myself trying to shoot. (Wedding receptions in large dark halls) ** I recently bought the 7500EDF because it looked big, had good guide numbers, and I thought it would have more power. My first experience with it has been outstanding, best consistent exposure I have gotten. Now it also may be the new used 50D I took the pictures with, but I am very happy with the results so far. ** I use rechargeables, and I always plug them in before I shoot, and the recharge was so fast I can only recall one shot I missed from it not being ready, and it was fast enough that I never really had to pay attention to the ready light, it was on. Feels well built. And if the quality of the light and pictures stays like my first experience, I will be keeping it awhile. ** I did keep the second flash off most of the time, and I bounced most shots, but took a few pointed straight ahead with the included diffuser when I needed the most light and they came out fine.Read full review
The flash unit has many desirable features, but the quality control, and the poor support from ProMaster is why I give this unti 4 stars

I can't rate it because it came without the batteries door, and I have been unable to use it. Sorry...
