This is the only bottle cage I've used in over 10 years. I've never once had a bottle fall out on rough terrain, unlike with metal cages. Every bike I own has at least two, with my adventure rig sporting a total of 5. They also can be stretched to accommodate 1 liter Nalgene bottles, but I wouldn't recommend it. The newer Kage has a retainer tab at the top- I usually just cut them off, so I can use bottles without the indentations that most bike bottles have.

This is a nice humble little bottle cage that holds my stainless water bottle, which has a smaller diameter a greater length than most plastic bottles. It neither adds to or distracts from fro the aesthetics of my bike, but when I reach for a drink it's there. That's what I bought it for. Easy to install.

Mounted on a behind-the-saddle carrier. Have never launched a bottle in ten years of use for training and racing. Fraction of the cost of the simian-themed cages.

I have always paid a lot of money for carbon bottle cage but even have problem with them (my bottles fall off the bike). Since I have those one, never had any issue.

Nothing fancy but holds the water bottle securely. I love Profile Design products.
