This call does have a slight problem where the rubber bellows will fly loose from the reed assembly when you shake it, but a few wraps of electrical tape will secure the bellows to the plastic reed housing. With a little practice call does sound like a young jake gobbler and will be effective in a situation where you wish to make a large tom think a young jake is invading his strutting grounds.

Ive had a primos gobble tube for years and the reeds finnaly dried out so i bought a new one this year. Side by side the new ones tube was a good bit smaller and thinner and if you dont hold on tight when you are shaking it it will fly apart. So i took the tube off my old one and put it on the new n not only does it sound better the tube dont fly off. Come on guys dont cheapin your product to save a dime.

Very nice piece of equipment. Gives options on different sounds. It helped me turn 3 toms in my direction for a successful harvest. The price isn't bad either. Primos has quality products.
