This new design Plano case is awesome. I have been a Doskocil user but this new Plano All Weather stole me away. The shell is very sturdy, the frame is rigid with no flex or twist. It's got a tight gasket all around the top half that seals perfectly to the bottom half when closed. The hinges are built like a gun safe and have nice big hinge pins. The same goes for the handle. The four catches are a fantastic design and latch super securely, no accidental release is possible. Two latches lock with genuine keys, not a little tab on cheap little flipper type keys. They are real toothed keys. The foam inserts are the pick-pluck on the bottom that let's you personalize the shape for your item. This is the best case for the money. I highly recommend it.

Would have given 5 stars except this case is very heavy and difficult to carry with gun and magazines added weight. Also the hinges have flimsy metal rods that bend easily so make sure you punch out the foam before trying to close. I tried just laying mags on top and it bowed the hinges slightly and is no longer water and air tight. Overall this case looks nice, protects your gun if used properly, just a little on the heavy side. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice case at a reasonable price.

Love this case. Durable, and fits my gun pulse 4 mags. Room for my night vision also. Has key to lock two places, plus two places for master locked if you want to go through all of that. Not me though. Would like to open when needed. It's a great buy!
