This book features the same charming poetry as the 1960's version, but sadly, does not have the same quality of artwork as the original. Illustration files appeared to be too low quality for print which made them hard to look at. Art direction was also strange--orientation of art and text is oddly juxtaposed at times, not sure why the title starts on the back of the book and wraps around to the front cover (imagine the photo shown here cut in half and the left half is all you see on the cover of the book...yeah, that's actually what it looks like). Glad to see someone tried to revive this clever story, just wish the execution had been better. If your kiddo really likes picture books, I'd say spring for a used copy of the original version if you can find it.

This 60's book about teasing is really cute, however it is NOT a story. Book has some tongue twisting rhymes(think Dr. Seuss) and then about every 4-5 pages has the cutest rhymes about Teasing a Weasel... When I first started reading it to my 4 1/2 year old,the first word out of her mouth was, "BORING!. So, there you have it...take it for what it's worth. Cute pictures though.
If you have children in any sort of relationship i.e. your own, step, nieces/nephews, grandchildren, nanny, neighbors etc. you must get this book. Delightful prose/poetry and a nifty little subtle message that teasing isn't nice.
