I have purchased 3 of these toothbrushes. The third one is a replacement for my wife's toothbrush that lasted 3 years. My own toothbrush has lasted 6 years. The problem with the design is that after time, water leaks into the body of the toothbrush and then kills it. Make sure you dry the handle after each use. Highly recommend you get the warranty that comes with it. Due to price I will keep buying it because if it last a year or more it is worth it.

I purchased my first Sonicare in 2010 and was very pleased with the original. Unfortunately my toothbrush fell and broke. This lead me to order this new unit. Out of the box it has been under powered and does not have the cleaning ability that I had grown accustomed to with my original Sonicare brush. Don't waste your money and purchase your Sonicare from a reputable retailer.
