I bought this to replace my sister's phone that was almost still usable. We had to go to the AT&T store to replace the sim card, as the old one did not work in this one. It was replaced for free, but we had to tell the clerrk at the store that we had already called the 800# to try to get it working, and were referred to the store. Most of my sister's pictures were transferred over, but some were not. We are not sure why, maybe would have worked if we had gotten a sd card and put it in. This phone has been interesting for my sister to learn how to use. I got it because it has the qwerty keyboard, to make it easier for her to text her kids. Overall, she likes the phone, but is still learning why it does what it does when it does it. Would have been nice to have the owners manual shipped with it, instead of having to download and print it on legal paper so it was big enought to actually read.Read full review
Need to charge the phone every 1 & 1/2 day. Not a lot of internal memory, need to buy a micro SD card. Download ringtones size no more than 300GB, otherwise you can't set it as ringtone. Make sure you delete your text messages often, or it will show as memory full and won't let u send out any texts. Other than, no issues with it at this time. I've had the phone for 4 days now and i'm already used to it.
I love this phone. It's small, cute, and very easy to use. The keyboard is also nice and simple. The only bad thing is you can't have your own ringtone when you receive TEXT messages. The phone has a text ringtone put in and can't be changed. But don't worry, you can at least change the ringtones when people call you.
I you like to text a lot and are used to a regular keyboard then this is the phone for you. The keypad is easy to press down on when you are typing and a lot of keyboard phones aren't anymore. Also they don't make screens like this one anymore for any phones...the screen is touch sensitive not HEAT sensitive sooo if you are like me and have nails, your nails work on the screen you don't need to try to get your finger tip on screen to use the phone. This is the last phone I can find that has a screen like this. Pantech has made other generation phones, but as far as I am concerned, this one is the best. My first one lasted almost three years and still works but I damaged the screen myself so I replaced it with the same phone. I went to AT@t several times to find an "Updated" phone or version of this phone but my nails got in the way and i could not operate anything. SO if it ain't broke don't fix it...I found a brand new one on ebay and purchased it. Also the battery is fine, I plug in every night before i go to bed and there isn't ever any issues. Highly recomend if you text a lot and are used to a keyboard.Read full review
