Tested the lens and all is well. Actually works for my purposes better than I had imagined given other reviews I had seen. One point to note: Given f4.5 max, this lens is ++ harder to focus after the luxury of using the bright f2.4 105mm.

All Pentax lenses for his 6x7 are wonderful, the old as the last series. I used for years the mid wide angle 75mm (as 32 mm for a 135 film) in the shift version for architecture and so on: great lens, a bit heavy and slow (manual selection of diaphragm) and so, for generic and faster works, searched and finded this one. It keeps sharpness and richness of transmission corner to corner,no distorction at all, maybe the best lens for this camera, no inferiority complex with zeiss hasselblad distagon, schneider angulon and so on. F/4,5 is it enough to easy focusing, and if you have waist level finder you see a clear, iperrealist scene. A bit heavy, maybe (but: how pleasant is to feel the -substance- of this glass!)and sure not a pancake; I suggest to use ever with his hood (the front lens is quite prominent, it can easily be reached by shocks or undesirable direct light...)and without any filter: the surface treatment is very good, and the light transmission is perfect as is. I reallly love this lens. And now is it possible, with a bit of luck, to find one in good shape at a ridicoulous price. A good reason to don't stop to take film pictures, or to begin to do.Read full review
The Pentax 67/6X7 medium format 75mm lens is an absolute must for those that want an outdoor lens that will allow you to create stunning photos with great depth of field. I use this as a family portrait lens in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. I love the Pentax medium format, it is only slightly larger than my Nikon professional cameras, but gives me a negative that is 3X bigger. This rush to digital has provided excellent values in this market and I love it and when you compare it to digital photography, this wins hands down in clarity and texture. I own all three formats, 35mm, digital and 6X7 medium format so when I need serious photography to be done with professional results, I choose my Pentax and its lens every time. Good luck to all who need this quality ---try this format out you'll be pleasantly pleased.Read full review
With camera on the tripod and mirror lockup I just got back some of the sharpest detail and great color balance photos with this lens. I compare this lens to the best. Zeiss eat your heart out.

This Takumar, 6X7 75mm f4.5 lens is in Excellent Condition. It gives you clean sharp pictures. It works great on my Pentax, K-50 DSLR camera using a Asahi, Pentax, adapter K for 6X7 lens.
