Wish I had these a few years ago.
Normally I'd buy new internal batteries for a controller, but for the ps4 there aren't any really good ones, and it's risky, you might damage the controller. I saw a YouTube video praising these battery packs, so I decided to get them, I wasn't disappointed. First things first, the box says up to 16 hours of play, definitely not. My controllers were dying out after 2 hours or less, with these battery packs i get a solid 8 hours out of each one, much more than i expected. The packs themselves are not too big in size either, so it shouldn't be too much of a change from how your fingers rest on the controller. Charging is easy as well, just drop the controller with the pack on into the charging station to charge both at the same time. Make your game last longer
This item is a must for the serous gamer. With this charger it adds 8 more hours to your game time with the add on battery's. believe me there is nothing more aggravating than to be on a hot streak and your controller is going dead. So play like the big boys. This is the second one of these I own I have the other one on my kids Play station so when the game get good and the fun will not have to stop because of a dead stick. What a difference!
It's a little bulky and adds some weight to the controller but it's a fair trade. The added battery life more than makes up for it. No more messing with charging cords either, just set it in the cradle and let it charge. The controller alone would die after about 8hrs of gameplay. Make sure you try this on two controllers! Sometimes a controller will have a faulty micro-usb that does not like the packs. Great product, and quick response from company when I wanted a return. Cancelled the return as I am happy with this product. It is authentic as well. I’ve used this for about 2-3 weeks and I was excited to receive this
When I received this I followed the instructions and left the controllers charging over night. The next day I used them and within 3 hours they started dying.
