Didn't work in custom mod, but the dip switch mod worked fine in my 2011 Tundra and Pioneer AVIC-X850BT
If you program this with your computer, make sure to right click and execute the app with Administrative rights. Also all of the Dip switches need to either be in the full up or down position, I forget which one, but if you don't do this the unit won't be recognized by your Windows machine as a valid USB device. When I got it out to my truck it didn't work in custom programmed mode, but the dip switch mode worked fine.
