Well-engineered and Manufactured Product, well thought out to provide excellent service and a minimum amount of replacement time, if one of the valve set fails: just unscrew both ends, leaving the rest connected to your sprinkler system, slide in the new Orbit In-line valve, and tighten it back up. Doesn't seem to leak, and documentation states that it can all be hand-tightened - I think I'll use a wrench lightly, however. On installation, it can save hours of time, from old manifold methods of gluing separate valves to screw-ins and gluing down the Manifold (of course, I'm an amateur, a professional would likely do it much faster). Only drawback is it's meant to be installed underground, so you should purchase a Housing (below ground) with a lid to ensure accessibility, making it more expensive than old fashioned Manifolds, however this later becomes and ascetic benefit.
