The image doesn't have as much contrast as I was expecting. The manufacturers specs are obviously lying. It's good, but not oled good. Also every time your input changes channels or has to reconnect the projector takes about 1-3 minutes to find the signal again. That being said I got this for $300 and I got more than what I paid for.

The projector has a great picture and is very bright when I try to watch it. Problem is, the group that gave it the "refurbished" stamp neglected to mention that the projector over heats and shuts down. The only way to actually use the projector is to turn it on, wait 10 minutes until the bulb dies out, unplug the projector, unplug the bulb, and plug them both back in. After that process, it's a great projector.

This is absolutely by far the best projector I've seen for the cost although I did find it on Amazon for 30.00 less still best features for the $. Great 3d experience as well as PlayStation games look fantastic.

After some research but zero experience I chose this projector. My intended use was to show movies outdoors with some friends. The Optoma was very easy to set up and turned out to be an excellent choice- extremely clear, like watching on my UHD tv inside, but on a 10 foot screen. No intrusive fan noise. Great color, no visible lag. Just exactly what I was looking for.

Overall decent value. I’m waiting on the screen to be delivered still and even against a very light gray wall it looks good. Except for when bright mode is on. The picture is green and unwatchable. Pretty disappointed since I got this one for the high lumen count.
