Thermal Sensor Cable Does the Job
When you need one of these, for a 2011 iMac swap of HDD for SSD, , for example, you really need it. This cable does the trick, and keeps your Mac happy, since it has to stay informed of the temperature of your main storage device. This has worked very well for me.
