the advantage in this case is the lg phone which allow you to change very easy the battery when ever it is necesery, the battery itself shoud be original and you have no problems. the battery i bouth was original and good and the price was reasonable.

They said it was new but looking at it looked like it was a used battery and it's better battery than I had in my phone because it wasn't lasting to long. Same type of battery that i had anyways in my current phone. It was a great price and they shipped it fast.

I tried buying generic replacements...they look identical w/o the LG logo. They were not as powerful and usually wouldn't hold a charge after 4-6 months. I have extra batteries on hand for my phone and wife's as well...far easier than lugging a power bank around or waiting for it to recharge. Many high end phones purposely seal their phones so that batteries can not be changed. Planned obsolescence irritates me. I suppose some day all phones will be sealed and have no replaceable battery...but for now, it's a deal breaker for me when I shop for new phones.

the battery works great but it was damaged in the shipping but apparently hasn't affected its performance. the packaging needs to be more protective. the battery suffered a puncture like dent, I could see that it occurred in the shipping because the outer packaging had the same puncture mark.

I checked all apps and sources running on my phone, it still seems to drain the battery rather quickly. Within 6- 8 hours with minimal use. I think that is too quick.
