You can try taking Psyllium powder by the teaspoon, mixed with water of fruit juice. Then you have to put up with the horrible taste, try to get the lumps of powder stuck down in the corner of the cup out and up into the mix, and then try to clean the cup for the next round. Or... I use 7 grams morning and night. That's 14 caps each time. The veggie based caps are Triangle K Kosher Certified, so I am avoiding the Bovine/Porcine gelatin content that no one needs. I don't have the horrid taste and I don't have to clean up cups or throw out disposables with a lot of powder stuck in them. Psyllium, in the correct dose for each individual, keeps you regular and comfortable. You may even save on toilet paper as psyllium binds everything together leaving little residue. But the real benefit of Psyllium for most people, is that it absorbs bad cholesterol and also reduces blood glucose for Diabetics. There is plenty of evidence to support these claims on line, especially from the University of Maryland. Before you start using Psyllium, ask your medical practitioner (provided that they know anything about it), usually a gastroenterologist to be safe. Your body needs to acclimate to psyllium use. NOW Psyllium has been my Psyllium of choice for years as it is clean, it works and is totally Vegetarian, milk free, gluten free etc etc. The only free it is not is the price. I go hunting on line every time I stock up with 10 to 20 bottles of 500 half gram caps. One bottle lasts around 4 weeks for me, at 28 per day. There are 700 gram caps available, but too pricey. Make sure you look for free shipping at a certain purchase level. Ask the vendor to check the Best By date and tell you. No old stock being dumped. I have a friend who I put on to these caps and when we see each other he usually does the hands thing to show how big "the fish that got away" was. Except I don't think he is talking about a fish. Just make sure you are near a toilet every day at about the same time. It is that effective. My friend's last "fish that got away" was at least three feet long. :-)Read full review

Really crappy scam product. Has more capsules than name brands for the same money but each capsule has like 4 times less fiber! Ridiculous scam do not buy. Also came with a bunch of creepy other samples of non FDA reviewed supplements that are probably snake oil and fake. Fiber pills also taste terrible compared to name brand, I swallow with water and still get bad taste as if they are coated with the fiber that is meant to stay inside. TL;DR Don't buy not good value

I have used this product for years. Like the capsules because you can take them when you are traveling, so you don't have to mix with anything. The caps do their job.

I love psyllium husk. My physician said I didn't get enough fiber in my diet so suggested I take a supplement. Great product and prevents irregularity. Very gentle on the system. I would recommend this product.

Awesome product, much easier to take the tablets rather than mixing powder in a drink.
