This is a lovely book, with recipes for the lactose-intolerant, or vegans. I will admit, that I gave N'ice Cream a three-star rating, based on my own personal health and taste prejudices. Firstly, I recommend that readers who hate bananas, as do I, skip the book. Most of the recipes require frozen bananas, for the fat needed to make ice cream "creamy." I am also allergic to a number of the recipe products, such as nuts, and some fruits. The authors do issue "nf" (nut-free) flags, for readers who are allergic to nuts. Peanuts are listed as nuts, when they are actually legumes (beans), and I find this a common error. All in all, for readers, cooks, and anyone who wishes to try ice cream in a new form, I do recommend this book. The taste dilemmas are my own.
