I have used Nero since 07, I've read many reviews on Nero, and the major complaint is installation. I had a lot of trouble installing Nero for a few years. I found the problem with me was, the CD drive. Even in the new computers their not worth much, good for playing music cd's, thats it. I installed most of the top brand, cd drives, it didn't help. So, I tried spending more on a (dual layer pioneer) cd drive. My latest cd drive is a dual layer pioneer blu-ray external drive, because the laptops aren't coming with them as much any more. No more problems burning or installing. Nero takes some getting use to, if you have the patients? it's a nice program. Oh, and one more fact. NERO DOES NOT UPDATE FOR LIFE!! Three or four years tops.

This is the second run-in I have had with Nero software in my lifetime. Difficult to install, difficult to use, and little to no support. I will stick with CyberLink PowerDirector and CyberLink Media Suite, as well as Windows Movie Maker. There isn't much support with CyberLink either, but it is user-friendly. Don't need it. It cost a little more but it's worth it. You get what you pay for. I should have used the money I wasted on this Nero Platinum 2018 towards upgrading my CyberLink. Live and learn.

After using Roxio for over 10 years this product is not as easy to get around in. Making a slideshow takes longer then Roxio and the functions take longer to navigate around to do a project.

I keep getting error code 1921 and cannot load the software. I have contacted customer service and they do not answer. As far as I am concerned I will never buy another product of theirs ever. This was complete waste of money. If you do an internet search on this product many people have the same issue.

I have used Nero for many years but this version is the worst ever. You can create a project fine but there is no way to get it to a Blu-Ray format that works correctly. Even though it will preview perfectly, after you write it out, the menu works correctly and shows the right photos, but the buttons don’t take you to the right spot. I have created the project many ways even using a clean boot and a clean install, always the same problem.
