About all I can say about this battery is that it is working excellently in my La Crosse multi-power sourced, multi-band emergency radio. The radio will store power from a built in solar cell and when I place my radio in a well lit window the battery charges like it's supposed to. I've tested it and it seems fully charged. The flashlight operates very brightly. So, I'd say the battery is working the way it should. I paid seven bucks for the battery and I was fine with that price. I checked on a replacement at Batteries Plus and their price was much higher. My radio is working well so it's a good value. It's charging like it should so I'd say it is of good quality, therefore I would recommend this battery.

I originally bought this battery because I trust the nitecore brand. Nitecore hasn't failed me until now. I've been slowly transitioning into rechargeable batteries an I'm just not willing to cheap out on any of the brands with fire in the name because I know these are the cheaper Chinese batteries. So I opted for nitecore since I've had great success with some of their other sizes of batteries. Now these batteries seem to be a great quality battery but they WILL NOT FIT in any of my devices that hold cr123 batteries. They are simply too big in diameter.

I use 8 of these Nitecore rcr123a rechargeable cells for my Arlo cameras and it works perfectly. The cells are really expensive but seem to be of excellent build! The capacity and durability is beyond expections i must say. If You are willing to invest You will not be disappointed!

The 650mah capacity is genuine. Although my first tests of the battery showed 620mah, it is will probably increase a little after more charges/discharges. Each battery weighs 18 grams, which is around 4 grams or more than other 16340 batteries falsely claiming to have 1200mah, 1800mah, 2500mah, etc. These batteries, usually made in China, actually have only about 200-300mah capacities (I have a lot of these batteries too). When shopping 16340 batteries, check their weights. An honest battery will weigh between 17 to 20 grams. The sellers know that battery weight and density correlates to its capacity, so if the weight isn't listed it's a battery you shouldn't buy.
