I like this book for the class I am in because it doesn't only explain a topic, it elaborates on it making it clearer for me to see and to understand much better than other books. I also like the pictures in this book because they illustrate the topics and then I can visualize it in my head during a test. I am a visual learner so it is a lot easier for me to visualize things to remember them.
I like that book, because it's interesting and easy to read. It gives you valuable information about child's development from conception through the adolescence. And that is what I need for my Developmental psychology class. Also this book is good for parents and those who is going to become a parent.
While I did recieve the book in a semi-timely manner, I was very dissapointed with the fact that when I opened the packaging, the cover fell off! In the notes about the book it stated that the binding was worn, but still intact and great for just using in class. The cover is not the binding. The binding was fine. I was not very pleased with the quality of the material, but I guess you get what you pay for?
I had to have this book for a summer semester class. I was really surprised at how thorough and complete the text is. It will be especially helpful for elem. ed. teachers. I will be keeping this one for future reference.
Book is great. It seems so far that it goes right along with the next edition with no differences. The book has no markings inside. The cover and pages arent bent or torn. It was Definatly a good choice. I am glad i won this one.
